Students Score In Football Tournament

A national football tournament saw eight Internationella Engelska Skolan schools put forward 16 teams to compete. The seven-aside contest saw children in years four and five from Internationella Engelska Skolan’s schools throughout Sweden compete to win the Turf Moor Cup for Boys and the Turf Moor Cup for Girls. Sixth grade Students from Art, Music and English are now b usy on their shadow puppet films. Working on the themes of 'Myths and legends' Each student has designed and made an individual puppet and developed scripts for their story. Working in groups they are now performing and directing their scenes during filming sessions in the media rooms    Read more

New Books to the Library

Varning för falsk ”Engelsk Skola”

Skolinspektionen har i dagarna kommit med resultatet från sin tillsyn av en skola på Kungsholmen som kallar sig ”Stockholms Engelska Skola”. Slutsatserna är mycket negativa, bland annat när det gäller den påstådda undervisningen på engelska. Skolan saknar också, enligt Skolinspektionen, ekonomiskt underlag för en uthållig verksamhet. Theme week at IES Nacka

For the last full week of school, our students in years 8-9 had their PRAO week. Mentors that went out to visit them on location were very impressed to see our students hard at work making coffee, looking after children and helping customers in stores. Overall, the students had a productive and imformative week. Read more
