Welcome

With each passing day we see the joy and enthusiasm of the students and staff at IES Nacka.  The promise of Spring and the arrival of a warming sun has been welcomed and so helpful in striving after our goals.  I am so proud to be witness to the progress of all our students. Their ability to adjust and thrive in this learning environment is an honor to be a part of.  

It has been a exciting and eventful start to the winter/spring term at IES Nacka.  Students have been skating, skiing, and engaged in all kinds of sports activities during the Winter Sports Day.  The city, parks, and museums have been full of IES Nacka students as we experienced another successful Year Level Day. A warm thank you to the parents that assisted in the lower year groups on these days.

With the sports break behind us it is important to remember what we have in the near future.  Year Level 9 and 6 will be continuing the process of taking different national tests and everyone will be preparing for the development conferences that will soon be upon us.  

Please make sure that you are keeping up to date on all the administrative details by going into SchoolSoft every day.  Equally important is the opportunity to know what is happening in all the subjects by logging into your google account.  Remember that all the unit information as well as lesson plans are available for students and parents.  

As always please remember to be a part of the school by joining and participating in the Parent Association and I look forward to meeting all of you at the next meeting.
