Granola Project in Home Economics class Year 7
Year 7 planned their Granola choosing ingredients based on Price, nutrients and health and individual needs (based on allergy and intolerances). The ingredients were different types of Oats, Dried fruits (Blueberries, Goji berries, Cranberries, Apricots, dates), Seeds (Pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, Linseed), Sweetener (Maple syrup, honey, sugar), shredded dry coconut. They decided how crispy they wanted it.
They chose the yogurt- Strawberry/ Vanilla depending on desired flavour.
