"I like the fact the school has a broad mix of students, everyone has a different background and comes from a different part of Sweden or the rest of the world. " Olivia, ninth grade student
Since 2011 the library has grown slowly but steadily with the help of student and teacher suggestions. Books in the library are currently separated according to language as well as reading difficulty and or content.
IESN's bilingual Library strives to collaborate with subjects throughout the school across each year level. It co-hosts cultural events with departments such as European Day of Languages together with the Modern Language department and förintelsens minnesdag with SO. It also promotes reading with a vast selection of fiction specifically chosen to meet students' interests and reading levels. The librarian takes it upon themselves to bring the world of books and reading to life with regular book displays, competitions and celebrations such as World Book Day and not to mention, simply talking about books.
