Student's suggestion box

New year, new ideas!

Students have been coming with great suggestions of what they would like to see in the cafeteria, therefore we have now put up a new suggestion box where students can leave notes suggesting new things  that they would like to see in the cafeteria or the school.

During week 3 the cafeteria will be arranging a table tennis tournament for students. The games will be played Monday - Thursday between 15:00 - 16:00. There will be music, good games and a great chance to just meet up with friends and watch the tournament.

You Will Be Found

2017 Tony award winner, Rachel Bay Jones, sent the Project Connect students at IES Nacka a special message of love and inclusion.  Rachel Bay Jones portrays the mother, Heidi, in the popular Tony award musical Dear Evan Hansen.

The musical is about a young boy who has social anxiety and his path to self acceptance.  Ms. Jones heard about IES Nacka's Project Connect group through her friend, Mr. Högkvist, and she wanted to reach out to the group to let them know how special they all are.  Unfortunately, the sound did not come through on the message....so the students did a great job of lip reading!
