Congratulations to Lisa Enerdal and Emelie Harris from 9A for coming in 3rd place out of 17 schools competing in IES Eurovision Song Contest. The song they performed was: "No Me Doy Por Vencido" by Luis Fonsi and they sang in Spanish.
8C have produced some great film posters on the book they have finished studying in English. Their task was to create a realistic film poster for an imaginary film of the novel (as there is no existing film for this book). They rose to the task, creating some excellent posters which would not look out of place in the corridors of Filmstaden!
/ Ms Davies, Head of English Department
Ms Davies reports from Sporst day at Hammarbyhöjdens IP with Year 6
Most of these pictures are either during the hurdling event, the tug of war (with Mr Farrar) or the 100m run.
It was at Hammarbyhojden IP and the weather as you can see, was very hot and sunny. Everyone had a great time.
Mr Farrar narrowly beat Emma in 6C at the 100m but only just!
Order, structure and safety are necessary prerequisites for learning.
Children should learn to command the English language, not just know it, at an early age.
Our conviction is that every child can achieve success irrespective of social background.
